Our space study has been a huge success and the Junior Astronaut graduation will happen during our Valentine's Day Party. The day will begin with the children putting their Valentine cards into each other's Valentine bag, then we will have a day filled with love, followed by our special food for snack. After snack we will celebrate and invite all parents to come 15 minutes early to watch their children graduate and perform a song. I hope you can all be there to take pictures and cherish this big moment.
This week there is no school on Monday. On Tuesday and Wednesday we will be doing many events that represent 100 in honor of their 100th day of school, and then Thursday and Friday we will celebrate Valentines Day and their Junior Astronaut graduation.
The following week will be our last week of our space study before we launch into Dental Week and March will be an author focus of Dr. Seuss. This will be a fun time of wacky Seuss stories and focusing on rhyming words. We will end the two weeks with our Unbirthday Party Celebration, but don't tell the kids. It's a surprise party. They will think of it as wear stripes and polka dots day.
