November is Flying By

Dear Families,
I can hardly believe how quickly time is passing! It is hard to believe that it is our last week before Thanksgiving holidays. This Thursday and Friday will be our Thanksgiving Parties where the children will be very involved in creating our food. Extra helping hands our welcome.
Our doctor office was very successful and the children learned about good hygiene (washing hands, covering our coughs and sneezes, and not picking our noses) and we will continue to reinforce what they learned. It was fun to watch the children care for each other and the dolls in our doctor's office. We ran out of bandaids and prescription papers very quickly.
Just for this week our dramatic play area is a Native American Teepee and our crafts have included Indian headbands, necklaces, and vests. When we return from the Thanksgiving holiday our class will become a winter wonderland with new bulletin boards and dramatic play area. Our dramatic play area will be a gift wrapping store. Please donate ribbon, wrapping paper, and tape for this fun and educational event as soon as possible. It will be wonderful practice in small motor skills and tying knots and bows. We will also focus on showing love to each other through kindness and sharing.
Be on the lookout for Parent/Teacher Conference Sign-up sheets for December 1 and 2. I look forward to meeting with all of you.
Sincerely,
Ms. Renee
