Last Week of October

Dear Families,
What fun we had at the Pumpkin Patch with a review of our bumble bee study in the Honey House. We have our Harvest Party this Thursday and Friday. Don't forget to bring a small pumpkin for your child to decorate. Thank you to all the families who have been working hard in the classroom, have donated items,  and who signed-up to bring items to our party.
November will be an adventure in caring for ourselves and understanding more deeply what changes are happening to the environment around us during the fall season. Take your children on walks and collect leaves that are changing color and also point out the evergreens. Talk about why some trees never loose their green color but others do. Take note of the weather everyday and talk about how we choose different types of clothes to wear depending on the weather.
Needs:  If anyone has play doctor kit items, old x-rays, eye chart, eyeglasses frames,... you get the idea. Also, I need a couple strands of fall colored leaves from Micheals or JoAnns to change the leaves on our classroom tree.
Thank you,
   Ms. Renee
