May Is Here

Dear Families,
I am amazed that it is May and we are finishing off the school year!

Looking at the month:

• Field Trip to the Nature Conservancy at Los Rios Ranch May 8 and 9. Starts at 9AM. We will hike and enjoy nature as a class.
• Mother's Day weekend - our children will be working on their Mother's Day project next week
• IPS Casino Night fund raiser - Friday, May 16
• Spring Sing - Friday, May 30.  We need each child to have a dress-up outfit for the event.
• Dragonfly Preschool Graduation Day - Tuesday, June 4 and Wednesday, June 5 starting at 8:45AM to hopefully catch family members so they can still make it to work. We will have a ceremony with certificates and a celebratory snack. Afterwards we will continue with a regular school day - free choice activities.

This month we will focus on nature - insects, animals, and plants. Encourage your child to share their favorite part of nature. Bring something to share! Go on a bug hunt, bring a stuffed animal that is their favorite animal, or bring in some flowers.

Zoo Phonics - Review and focus on both upper and lower case letters.
Colors - Review all colors
