Dear families,
This is going to be a fun week as we wrap up our pet study and celebrate all the Zoo Phonics animals during our party days, this Thursday and Friday. On our party days, your children are encouraged to pick a Zoo Phonics animal to dress up as and add the letter on the shirt (if possible). Parent helpers are encouraged to dress up as well. There will be prizes for best parent helper costume. All parents are welcome to attend the party which will begin at 10:35AM.
As we begin November we will be doing a study on squash! We will plant seeds, make instruments, decorate gourds, pound pumpkins, eat pumpkin treats, and prepare for Thanksgiving. If you happen to see some interesting squash for our classroom, we would appreciate the donation.
We have been made aware that some cars are driving too fast in our parking lot. We want to remind all parents that we need to drive slowly (10mph) to keep all children safe. Also, the entrance to our parking lot is the tree side, not church side, of the parking lot.
JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes sign-ups are going on now. Join our school as we support this important cause. Both Connor and my son have Type 1 and we would appreciate your support to find a cure. The walk is on Sunday, November 9th at the Angel Stadium in Anaheim. Walk kicks off at 10:00AM.
Also, after Halloween there are often clearance sales on costumes. If you are interested in helping us replace our tired dress-up clothes we would really appreciate it. Thank you!!
