Our children are very interested in our study and we are having fun learning about the moon and space travel. Our spaceship is a great place for our children to role play being part of a NASA team. We practice preparing the spaceship for lift off, deciding what our mission will be, saying the count down to blast off, and when we have landed on the moon we gather moon rocks and leave a flag behind. They love it! Encourage your children to look at the moon and stars. Have fun sharing what you know about space. Offer paper and crayons for them to demonstrate what they have learned.
Based on class interest, we will continue studying the moon and do science experiments so that we understand gravity. Thank you to all of the parents who have donated items to help us in our study.
