Dear families,
It is hard to believe that the year has gone by so quickly! I honestly feel amazed that we are so close to finishing the year. Seeing all of your children sing at Spring Sing filled me with pride as I looked at their shining faces and heard their eager voices singing so beautifully. Thank you for blessing me with the opportunity to get to know your child and guide them through this year.
This is our last regular week, May 20 - 24th. We will be watching our growing silkworms begin their metamorphosis as they start to spin their cocoons. Lots of observations and discussions will be going on as we adventure with them in this process.
The following week, May 28 - 31st, is the week we have our end-of-the-year class celebration. This begins at 10:30AM. We will sing, hand out certificates and portfolios, and share some ice cream together. T/Th class will celebrate on the 30th and MWF class will celebrate on the 31st. I am in search of a military parent or relative who would be willing to lead our flag salute on your child's party day. Please let me know as soon as possible if you have someone who would be willing to volunteer for this.
