Don't Miss Out

Dear Dragonfly families,
Next week there are so many exciting things happening. Our week starts with a special teddy bear event as we begin our study of the letter /b/. Bubba Bear has invited all our children to bring their teddy bears to school (Monday and Tuesday). We will have some fun teddy bear activities and don't forget to go on a hunt through the house for something that begins with /b/ for our letter box.
Other focus:  Color - red, Shape - circle, and Number 3. We will also have an Apple Pie Baking in the Dramatic Play area.

Also, next Tuesday, September 16th is our Back to School Night Picnic. This event goes from 6PM and to 8:00PM, stop by whenever you can. The classrooms will be open so you can see what your child has been doing. Bring a picnic dinner to enjoy out in our play yard and add your touch to our VW Bug.
Willowbrook Apple Farm Field Trip is next Thursday and Friday, September 18 and 19 beginning at 9AM. This is my favorite field trip, so don't miss out. This farm is located next to Riley's farm, 12099 South Oak Glen Road. We will press cider, tractor ride, interact with the animals, jam tasting, and end with a caramel apple. Children are $10 and Adults $7, siblings are welcome.
